Jen Crickenberger is the Associate Director of Education, Teaching Artist, and Curator of Education for The Light Factory.

Jen received a BFA with a concentration in Photography from UNC Charlotte and continues to work as an installation and photographic artist. A powerful educational program Jen designed and taught, A Unique Perspective: Breaking Boundaries of Autism with Photography and Poetry, was featured on NPR’s Morning Edition with Simone Orendain.  Jen recently created two art exchange programs, China I-Sights, and Vanishing Point that traveled high school students to China and Eastern NC. These programs gave students the opportunity to learn about different regions, create art and connect personally with their partner students.

When she’s not teaching or creating art, Jen enjoys travel.
