Class Description:

Learn to see in black and white. This introductory class will teach students the art of black and white darkroom photography. Students will learn how to shoot, develop, and print their own black and white images. The fun includes slideshows, darkroom experimentation, hands-on instruction, and photo excursions uptown. Students will make photograms and pinhole cameras. By the end of the course, students will be able to operate a manual 35mm camera, develop their own negatives, and process their own true black and white prints.
