Corporate Experiences

Photography and filmmaking are the ideal way to build teamwork and increase creativity among your employees and co-workers.  The Light Factory staff can customize an experience for your team, from simple gallery tours and photogram activities, to more involved and comprehensive workshops.

• Summer associate programs: “The Amazin’ Race – Charlotte” is a Team-building program that pits corporate teams against each other in a race around Charlotte.   All the activities are filmed by team members, edited by professional filmmakers and screened during an evening celebration.  Through this adventure, team members can experience the exhilaration of making their own movie. The filmmaking process challenges teams to collaborate, problem-solve and explore Charlotte - all while having a great time!
• Tours:  The Light Factory offers tours for Corporations interested in  a unique experience for their staff and clients. Corporate tours feature a guided gallery tour led by The Light Factory’s Chief Curator and a darkroom experience led by The Light Factory’s Education Director. Any group interested in visiting The Light Factory is welcome to call and schedule a tour and darkroom demonstration.
• Teambuilding experiences: Develop your team and enhance communication through art! Using photography and film, your employees will be challenged to employ communication, risk-taking, and problem-solving skills to create unique collaborative artistic pieces with their co-workers. Team building exercises can be custom-tailored to your group's specific goals. Each team will be guided by professional artists and participants will rotate through the activities culminating in a grand exhibition showcasing all of your creations. The results will astound you - and you’ll have a great time doing it!
