Fashion Photography & Photoshop Camp (Grades 9-12)

Class Description:This course will teach students to creatively move past making a basic portrait. The instructor will share examples of work from fashion photographers who focus on creative portraits. Students will learn to create a unique, memorable portrait using lighting, setting, exposure, composition, focus, and camera angle. In addition, students will learn to manipulate their images in Adobe Photoshop using basic tools. In-class critiques will offer students constructive feedback and out-of-class shooting assignments will allow photographers to take their creative process home. A digital camera is required for this course. Cameras may be Point and Shoot or DSLR. Class size is limited to 7 students. Costs: $230
