Toy Camera Photography Camp (Grades 9-12)

Class Description:

Utilizing toy cameras for special effects is a recent trend in contemporary photography. In this course, students will explore the use of several plastic cameras using 35mm and medium format film. Students will review master work of famous photographers who use Holgas, Dianas, Fisheye cameras, and other toy cameras. This class will explore the creative process of using toy cameras to get a unique photographic perspective. The Light Factory will provide fisheye cameras, Holgas, and pinhole cameras for student use. Students will be asked to provide B&W and color film as well as color film processing for 2-3 rolls of film.
