Dee has worked at The Light Factory since August 2006, raising community awareness for the organization.  She oversees all marketing functions, including (but not limited to) public relations, community relations, graphic design, advertising and publication.  She supports development staff through media sponsorship, minor grant writing and by managing main fundraising events, including the Annual Art Auction (every fall) and The Light Factory Shoot Out (every spring on Mother’s Day weekend).

Dee was previously employed at Discovery Place, Inc. where she served as the Interim Director of Marketing.  Before moving to Charlotte in 2004, she ran the Public Relations wing of The Graham Group, an advertising agency based out of Lafayette, Louisiana with offices all over the state.  Dee has experience as a television news producer and a radio traffic reporter.

Dee is a native of South Louisiana where she graduated from Louisiana State University.  Geaux Tigers, and Who Dat?
