Date: June 30, 2012 Time: 10am-5pm Instructor: Tom Dills Location: The Light Factory - 2nd Floor Classroom/Darkroom Cost: $175 |
Class Description:Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is a great tool for photographers working with large amounts of image files. It allows photographers to sync their photographs and batch process or edit their images within seconds. You will appreciate the time saving features Lightroom offers photographers whether it is in editing, organizing, or presenting images. In this intensive workshop, students will explore the five modules of Lightroom, with particular emphasis on the Library and Develop modules, the heart of Lightroom. We will also work with the Slideshow, Web and Print modules and cover a number of specialized topics such as working with external programs, dealing with multiple catalogs and using a laptop for travel while storing your images at home or office. Equipment: Each student should come to class with their computer running the most current version of Lightroom. If you do not currently own Lightroom, a free 30-day trial is available on Adobe’s website. For those who do not have their own computer, a limited number of i-Mac computers are available for student use. Also bring a memory card and card reader or a jump drive containing at least 20 images. RAW images are preferred but we can work with JPEG or TIFF files as well. Click for Refund Policy
