Community Outreach and Projects in Schools

Each year The Light Factory partners with schools all over North and South Carolina to promote media literacy and self-expression to their students using photography and filmmaking.  These programs are offered free or at minimal charges to the students, due in part to your support.  Invest in Outreach to continue this exceptional programming.

• Student art exchanges with students accross the globe to break down stereotypes and build bridges between communities.
  

• My Family, Our Stories with local English as Second Language Students to promote literacy using photography as an alternative tool for communication.

• Special projects and partnerships within different communities and organizations to accomplish social and creative goals. These programs often include adult interaction.
